New Port Beach, California 08'

We had a blast in New Port this summer, sad to be back to the heat and work this week though...
This year we had a packed house the first week, and this second week no one is there but my mom and Jenna and the baby! (Jealouse)
I took 4 of my crazy friends with me... Colby, Tamran, Devon and Ameila for 2 days.

Heres a few highlights:
*GAMES GAMES GAMES... Im not kidding on that part, every morning, every afternoon and every night
*Balboa and an amazing Mexican food place and Balboa salt water taffy
*Bike rides... Devon craashing into a PARKED car...WOW
*Braxton...Love that kid, he was a blast to have this year and he is going to be one unhappy baby when he gets home and doesn't have all the attention in the world like he had this trip.
*7:30 wake up calls from all the kids
*Dounut shop with Peter and Sunny
*Learning a new card game from my grandma and her making a funny... I was asking if colors meant anything in this game and what the colors meant, like did you have to have a certain color or match a certain color and so forth and in a dead serious tone she says..."Black is black and red is red" hahahahhaha she was telling me what the colors were! We all had a good laugh at that one, at least i know my colors for Red and black now :)
*Kosty actually asked "WHERE I WAS" thats a rare occasion, and he said he "Liked me" this trip... i think only because i brought Harry Potta for him.
*Hanging out with Brayden. My little handsome boyfriend who is getting so big!
*Movies movies movies-Batman...AMAZING... Momma Mia...I thought it was cute and corny haha
*Moms COOKIN... Costa vida, pizza, indina fry bread, BBQ night, and SNACKS SNACKS SNACKS!!
*The weather.. Jacket weather early morning and at night-LOVED IT
*The beach...mmmmm wanna go back
*Tanning-actually got a lot darker and than peeled on my face!
*Sleepy Ha Ha's
*Hunington Beach for a LITTLE shopping
*Ameila's company for 2 days haha
*Dr pepper, Dr pepper, and Diet Dr Pepper
and lots more!!!

~ITS TIME TO HIT THE BEACH~

The more than overdue time has come to make the yearly trip to NEW PORT, CALIFORNIA with the fam!

We will be gone for a week...Saturday to Saturday!

Most of my family is going for 2 weeks, but due to work thats not possible for me this year!

Last year we KICKED Tamran's Butt home...So shes not in any of the pictures... Sorry, you had to come home anyways... But this year I promise I wont make you go home! We are also sad to leave Ameila all alone for a week... You should of dropped out of Summer School!

I'm so excited to go to a cooler place, and a place that I will actually need to wear a sweater a night or two :)

We also have a NEW & FUN EDITION to this years trip... BRAX-A-ROO!! He doesn't even know what hes about to get himself into.. lots of sand in the mouth, Beach Water, SPOILED, and probably gain 5 lbs like the rest of us doo...

Catching Up...

I haven't done a post in a while so I thought I'd catch up!
First off... I've been SEXIFIED!!
Yes, its true... after many begs, pleads, I'll pay for you, and more begs I finally went and saw
"SEX IN THE CITY"
I guess last week was a mutual decision of what girls night would be, but all in all I actually really liked the movie. It was worth seeing, there were a few scenes that were on the "iffy" side but than there was some that were just plain HILARIOUS and it was a very cute movie.
I am pretty sure I want a closet that looks like the one Sarah Jessica Parker got in the movie.
One word... AMAZING! I know my sister would die if she had a closet that big and amazing!
Im still not sure how ALL my friends have seen it (4) times in the theatre yeah, $40.00 on a movie!

NEXT...Random Happenings, Ya know the drinking Dr.Pepper thing, Curling hair for those who enjoy curling LONG LONG hair! Arguing about rather diets work or not. AKA TAMRAN arguing me and colby haha, Im sad to annonce I do not have pictures of our trip to DESERT SKY MALL.. note to all (NEVER GO THERE) unless you want to be disappointed and somewhat be in Mexico City, Drive 45 mins to see one store, some stores are in SPANISH, car overheat, FUN!! SLEEP, getting ready to move again, Excited for California in a 5 days (crazy)! Attempting to work out, Tanning so I can become a Mexican after california, Swimming, Seeing/hanging out with lots of old friends :), House sitting, and the list goes on...

Sorry no pictures of any of those, my sister was kind enough to let me borrow her old camera but the batterys die OH SO FAST (You were not kidding) so I put brand new batteries in it and than the next day it said battery was low (WASTE of batterys) so I when I needed a camera I had NONE! But i figured it out... I take the batterys out when im not using it and put them in the case and than the batterys last longer!

Third... I LOVE MONSOON SEASON!! That is probably one of my favorite times of year! I love Thunder, Lighting, and Lots of rain!! Sunday was awesome it poured soooo much where I live!! I think we got at least an inch of rain if not more and the wind was crazy, the big trees were swaying! Literally every year when we go to California for the week or two it is major monsoon season in AZ and we miss ALL the good storms!! I HATE IT!! So I hope they come before or after this year :)

GIRLS... SAY IT WITH CHARMS!!

My sisters Best friend/basically 2nd sister started her own little charm business! She makes really cute charm necklaces and she will put whatever you want on the charms and than you can choose the rhinestones and so forth. They are Very very cute and affordable! Of course you all know mine will have PEACE on one of the gold plates! :) Check out her blog and if you would like to order one let me know or leave a comment on her blog and she will make you one!!

Cousin Time

This last week my cousin was in town for a couple days...

We haven't seen him in many many many years, so it was really good to see him.

He is probably one of the funniest/outgoing/always wants to be around you and talkative cousins we have... which is a good thing! He is moving from California to Colorado and decided to stop by the HOT AZ and say hi!

I went to my moms house to visit him and we decided to take a few pictures... we are missing Jenna I am not sure where she was but I quess she missed out on this one...

Im pretty sure being we had TANNER and TREVOR in there who don't know how to smile we were in front of the fireplace for about 10 minutres trying to get 1 good picture...

hahahaha I LOVE this picture.. its such a creepy funny picture of Trevor.. were not really sure what he is doing!!! haha

A funny thing that Darren pointed out was how many clocks my mom has in her house... he goes..."Your mom has like 9 clocks in this house that I counted, if you guys are ever late to anything than theres a problem" (Well guys the Hestands are late to everything haha) and than he goes "Jenna even has like 4 clocks in her house, i dont get what it is with all the clocks." and Tanner follows that comment with "yah for the last 3 christmas i have gotten those big clocks from her or Jenna they try to put them all over in my house too..."

ONE of the famous 9 clocks made it to the pictures so it reminded me of that conversation!

JIMMY EAT WORLD CONCERT!

Logan and I went to the Jimmy Eat World concert last night with his mom and dad! It was so much fun and my first time seeing them in concert! Last time they were here i wanted to go so bad but it was either sold out or i didnt know about it till last minute dont remember! So soon as I saw tickets go onsale I was excited to go. Logan decided to get his parents tickets for Mothers/Fathers day (with the help of me suggesting it being I knew how bad his mom has wanted to see Jimmy) So we all went out to dinner and than the show and had a great time!!
Jimmy did an AWESOME set.. there lights were amazing! They played a nice long set and I really enjoyed hearing all of there new stuff as well. When they did come back on stage, because every band does once they pretend there done, every single song they played was one of my favs from them and a song i had been waiting for all night! AWESOME! The other 2 bands did a good job to.. Deer in the headlights was really good, i havent heard them before but they did a good set and there music was good! Minus the bear... was alright.. the music part of it was good but they played way to long of a set almost an hour.. not needed... and there songs were really LONG! haha But all in all it was a really good show and night!!! :)

He's a brat and NEVER wants to take a picture! SO he always decides not to smile or to smile but look at something else... geeee... he does it all on purpose too because he knows I get mad at him for it!!!! He should just make the first one good because i ALWAYS make him redo the pictures until i like it... but NO!!

Logan's parents... Mark and Terry! His dad has got to be the goofiest/funniest person ive ever met!
