Rocky Point 09'- part 2

gRocky Point
After the orphanage we got to stay in a condo in Rocky Point for 3 days. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. I unfortunately was sick the entire time we were in Mexico. I got sick Christmas Day and it just wasn't getting any better for me. So, Minus my horrible cold and cough I still had a good time in Rocky Point. We played lots of board games...Wii... Shopping by the fish markets... Good food...Suns vs. Lakers WIN-woo wooo... and enjoyed the cold but nice weather.
It was very very dead again this year in Rocky Point. There was no one around and the streets were bare at night. Basically the grungy looking dogs got the whole place to themselves once it hit night time.
Thanks again so much, Antelmans!

Orphanage 09'

Rocky Point & Esperanza Orphanage 09'

I got the opportunity to once again, go give service at the Esperanza Orphanage in Rocky Point with Logan's family this year. We had such a great trip and even got to enjoy 3 days in Rocky Point for a little vacation.
Each year Logan's parents set up a huge project to give
a group of 43 children a Christmas they wouldn't get if it wasn't for his parents. They have been doing it for many years and the last 2 years I have gotten a chance to tag along with them. It is such an eye opener each time to see all these kids so excited for the smallest things that we see in our every day life. It makes you really appreciate all that we have and how truly spoiled we are on Christmas...and especially how blessed I am to be able to spend Christmas with my family. You think about 43 kids without a family for Christmas time and it makes you so sad.
Logan (being he is all into the living green stuff) asked the main owner if he would be okay with Logan trying to raise money to provide the Orphanage Solar Panels which would make them have Free hot water and electric forever. I watched as Logan handed the owner the note written in Spanish what Logan was planning to do.. The owners eyes lit up and it looked like he was going to tear up. He immediately said YES YES YES and couldn't stop smiling. They spend $900.00 a month just on that stuff every single MONTH and none of the kids ever get to take hot showers..The hot water is only for the laundry room.. I can't imagine never taking a hot shower. :( So Logan is hoping to be able to raise enough money by Dec 10' to give this Orphanage something that will truly make a HUGE difference in their life. I will keep you posted on the website once its up and running.Owners and their family

A week till Christmas ALREADY?

Holy cow!
Where in the world has December went? Let alone 2009... I can't believe that it is already almost Christmas than 2010. Time is flying by and it needs to slow down just a tad bit so I can catch up with it. haha

Nothing new is going on with me. I have been crazy busy it seems between; Working, Christmas shopping in the madness, Birthdays, Suns Games, Work
Parties and more. I love Christmas time though, and I love the holiday spirit so I can't complain that much.

I am happy to say I am finally finished with my shopping, and thank goodness. I leave for a 2dayer to Vegas Sun so I made myself finish before..Because theres no way I am stepping foot in any store on the 23rd or 24th! :)

Babysitting BRAXY:
His smile is hard to resist, Right?Hooooodies! haha

A co-worker of mine told me about a website that you can get
2 FREE complimentary tickets to the suns
game.
You get tickets to a lounge area where its free standing with couches and some chairs and it overlooks the court. So, I had 3 people sign up and we ended up with 8 free tickets.
I had my work holiday party that night as well.. luckily it was a later game, So I was able to go to the work party for 45 mins and than off to the Suns game we went!
We had such a blast and we WON!

Oh yes, he has a beard... ha he has been working on his beauty for a month now.. on the other hand I have been working on making him shave for about 2 1/2 weeks now. haha I wish this picture wasn't in black and white because he has a colorful beard, I love how the irish in him comes out when he grows his beard out...theres the blondes, the reds, and the browns. I like a little facial hair but I don't so much like thick beards... he has been teasing me saying hes going to shave it and keep just a crazy mustache for a day.. my reply was, "eww, gross.. I wont be seen with you that day" hahaha I am not a fan of mustaches at ALL! But, I love this boy with or without a beard :)
