1st House

OUR NEW HOME!!!!

Logan and I got our FIRST new home 1 week before we got married.

We are completely TRILLED & EXCITED to be

first home buyers.

Most of you have probably heard the long dreadful, stressful & aggravating story of trying to get this home.

For those of you who haven't i'll tell ya a very short version of just SOME of the problems.

We went through Chase being I work their and get a discount- Chase Mortgage guy screwed up our loan process and got us declined... he tried to help us fix his mistake and it was taking far to long and getting close to our deadline. We thought we had lost the house by this time... (sidenote: we went through 2 realtors- we looked at 50+ homes- we placed offers on 15+ homes- we got accepted on 4 ho

mes and by the end... we wanted THIS HOME ONLY- it felt like home) We switched to a mortg guy that our Realtor referred us- we had 5 days to close and we fought some battles and we came out on top. We were so excited the day we signed the paperwork and knew the house was REALLY ours!

We love our home and its so cute WITHOUT furniture & decorations. You just wait until the pictures of our home decorated and put together come :)

In the end we got a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath & 2

car garage home.

We have a great starter home & a great starter backyard for Logan to build our mini paradise.

We got a Smokin' price & a home in great condition (we didn't see many of those while searching)

Another great feature is... its located on Higley & Baseline. Just 2 miles from my parents home. It makes things SO much easier living so close to them :)

MOM'S B-DAY!!

My mom's b-day Saturday the 12th!

2 days after Logan's B-day we got to celebrate my moms :)

We went to lunch at Texas Roadhouse on Saturday and had a great time.

I don't have many pictures from this due to Braxton playing with my camera the second I brought it out.. No hope once he has it. He managed to get a couple pictures himself tho haha.

My mom on the Saddle. As most of you probably know when its your B-day they make you get on the saddle while they sing to you. My mom didn't want to do it at first but than surprisingly she saddled up haha. Shes a trooper!!

Logan's 27th Birthday!!

Thursday the 10th was Logan's birthday. He got completely spoiled this year by everyone and we were able to do lots of fun activity's for his b-day.Wed night, the night before, we went bowling with his family and a few close friends.Thurs his actual B-day he got spoiled with BREAKFAST & LUNCH made by me (which he LOVES, favorite thing is when I cook, no joke.) He got WAY to many presents, I overdid it once again this year. haha OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE for his B-day night dinner, mmm!

Than Saturday -Sunday we had a group of friends camp-out at the lake. We had a BLAST! We left about 3ish on Saturday afternoon, had a CRAZY drive to butcher Jones..I was nervous for my life a couple of those climbs to get back in their, set up camp, went tubbing (our friends just got a new boat, we are LOVING it haha) Grilled yummy dinners, camp fire, weather was amazing, Ranger Golf Cart rides, B-day cake singing, Basking in the sun and enjoying the tan, Jet Ski's (We were surprised by this and they were a BLAST to ride all day Sunday.)

We had such a fun week last week we didn't want it to end! :)

Our poor baby.

When we first got back from our honeymoon Mia saw a cat and took off running. (Logan called when she came out of the pile of metal, branchs and garbage at his parents house she would be hurt) sure enough she came out limping and blood everywhere. We let her go for a week and we thought it was getting better... She started licking it raw and so we decided to take her in. GOOD THING WE DID,her foot was really infected & her toe was basically barely hanging on. So, they put her under and attached her toe and ripped her toenail out because it was barely their from her licking.

When I got home from work Mia was SOOO drugged. It was so sad to see her little cast on and her cone and she just had a blank look in her eyes.

She got up and followed me back into our room when I went to change. She just stood their swaying back and forth and than a couple of her legs could collapse and she would pick herself back up and do it all over again. It was so Funny but yet sad at the same time because she was SO drugged from her surgery.

The next 7 days of her wearing a cone is going to be sad and ROUGH for Mia! haha

Skip A Chapter...

THE HONEYMOON!!!!!!

Yes, we are going to skip the Wedding chapter for a little bit longer. Have to wait to get the pictures back. BUT, it was an amazing amazing night full of tons of fun and amazing decorations & food!

Anyways, the honeymoon. We went to Mazalan' Mexico. Let me just say in one word..."AHHMMAZZZING"

I wish I could just say that and be done with this blog post...BUT, I would be leaving out a lot of fun memories & pictures!

(this may get a little bit long..so, make sure you got 5 mins. haha)

and the story is..

We left our reception Extremely hungry and got to our hotel (an old apartment complex) Xona. We went to our room and our room keys didnt work, we had just hauled all our luggage a decent walk and bla bla bla.. so we called and they came down and gave us new keys. We walk into a cute decorated room that his mom decorated earlier that day. We were soo excited to eat (costa vida is one of my fav meals) and I pulled out the following items...*Green Salsa, Red Salsa & pico De Gallo (sp)

*Black beans

*Tub of lettuce

*Pineapple

*Cantaloupe

That was it :(

This is what we were missing...

*Meat

*Tortillas

*Chips

*Utensils

*ALLLL the candy I had

So, we were a little bummed out.

It was a mix up in the kitchen, I grabbed the bag before everything was in it before we left that night I guess! haWe HAD to eat and nothing was open so we drove to Walmart.we went grocery shopping and got back to our hotel to find out the one out of the 2 keys they gave us wasnt working AGAIN for us.. Ok, ne ways..We get in we just took a couple mins to calm ourselfs down.. THAN Logan went to take a shower and we had NO HOT WATER! Wait, are we really still at our wedding night?

Following day we headed to the airport, took off and landed in a some what humid place (I was soaked when i got off the plane, wasnt use to that)

We took a taxi and were at our RESORT in 30 mins. OH MY, it was soooo much fun and such an amazzzzzing trip! We were sketchy we would have bad luck like we did the night before and get a crappy place but it was a very nice place :)

We couldn't have been happier or have chosen a better place. It was beautiful, just like hawaii! It has amazing food, the most friendly people ever, Great weather, fun wildlife, and they actually care about you! Way better than Rocky Point.

I have to thank The Antelman's sooo very much for buying our honeymoon for us :) We loved it!!

Okay, onto the good stuff! PICTURES!

This Pool was amazing!!!!

Under the waterfalls is a HUGE cave. With lots of different pathways and such. It was seriously as big as the pool and than it went out to another pool on the other side!!

All the cooks at the restaurant at the pool! We got to know them all very well. They are singing happy birthday to someone at the pool. They each grab a pot and pan or something and walk around the whole pool area making noises and singing.

Restaurant at the pool by our condo. This is the only pool we went to it was the BEST one.

Water taxi ride. You had to take a 30 sec water taxi ride to the beach. We had the marina with all the COOL boats between us and the lake. It was perfect tho!

The Beach!! :) I love any beach and all beaches! When we went they were having the biggest wave swell anyone their had seen in a long time. The beach was closed 2 days and they were SWAMPED with jelly fish. So, needless to say I never went in the water! haha

Funny story. We had room maid service anyday we wanted (just as you do in a hotel) and it was AMAZZZING! I am use to having a beach house to ourselves for the week so we clean up after ourselves. We got it almost every day and would go to the beach and come home to a CLEAN little house and freshly made bed! Well I just threw all my shoes in that white cubby when we got their.. I didnt need to organize them but no no no... the maid did not think the same thing. She took them all out of the cubby and matched them all with eachother and than any extras ran them in a row down the wall. I died laughing when I walked in and saw that! ha more power to her! hahah

ANNNNND the Iguanas!!!!

Okay, we sat down at the pool lounge chairs and WOAH, there is 30 Iguanas behind us. I was a little worried about this for a couple days.. I MEAN, LOOK at the size of those babies! They just chill out on a big grass area right behind the pool that slopes down to the marina. They come up on your lap if you have food and try to get them to, they chill out in the shade under ur chair (little disturbing) they go down to the water and steal some sips, oh man!

The BOSS of the crowd! We can tell this one was the boss of the crowd he was the biggest one and the orange one. He would walk around shaking his head up and down and all the little guys would take off running. ha

Beautiful SUNSET! It was gorgeous almost every night!

The ROOM SERVICE. Okay, Logan was in heaven. thats all i can seriously say. We ordered or HE ordered room service at least once a day. It was easy, cheap and dont gotta do anything for it! Look how much they bring with their entrees! ALL this fruit cost about $2

We stayed at the El Cid resort. this is their little lighthouse.

Fidel! our favorite person! He was the captain (main man) at the restaurant at the pool. He was seriously so friendly and was instantly our friend and nice as could be the entire trip. Every second making sure we were being taken care of.

This was a resort right next to ours that was abandon. I guess a lot of celebrity's use to stay their like Frank Sinatra and so forth. It had its own little beach and was super cool.. but, the rocks were a little to sketchy to go down to it..I TRIED.

We had a FABULOUS time in Mazalan and can't wait to go back in the future!

We got to enjoy a week to ourselves, NO cell phones or anything. We had so much fun and wish we could go back and do it all over again.
